Resort Policies
1. Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the cottage rental rate (excluding taxes) is required to reserve a cottage. Deposits are due at the time a cottage is reserved. Reservations will not be held if a deposit is not received. Deposits are non-refundable if the time of cancellation does not allow rental to another party. The balance of the rental fee plus applicable taxes is due upon arrival.
2. Payment: Snug Harbour Resort only accepts Canadian or American currency or cheques. E-transfer is the preferred payment method for Canadian customers.
3. Check-in: Check-in time is after 12:00 p.m. while check-out time is before 10:00 a.m.
4. Pets: Please note there is a $100.00/week cleaning fee if you bring your pet to Snug Harbour Resort. Please ensure that your dog is leashed in around the resort common areas. Dogs are not permitted on the beach area. Dogs are permitted to swim in the launch area and are permitted off leash in the main field. Please refrain from allowing dogs on the cottage furniture and/or bring sheets to protect the furniture.
5. Fireworks, Firearms, Fires and Smoking: Fireworks and firearms are not permitted. Outdoor fires may be allowed in fire-pits at the discretion of Snug Harbour Resort and if a fire-ban is not in effect. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages.
6. House-keeping Cottages: Visitors are expected to maintain a clean cottage and yard. The cottage and yard should be returned to the same condition at check-out time as was found at check-in time.
7. Bedding: Guests must provide their own blankets, sheets, pillows, pillowcases and towels for their stay.
8. Excessive Noise and Quiet Hours: Excessive noise is not permitted from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
9. Boats and Docking: Guests are permitted to bring their own boats and canoes to the resort. Launch and dock fees will apply. Guests are responsible for ensuring that they have the required boating safety gear (including lifejackets) and boating and fishing licenses while on the water. Alcohol is illegal in all watercraft. 10. Additional Visitors: Additional overnight visitors are permitted as long as they register at the office and pay for their stay if the number of designated number of adults is exceeded.
